Thanks for visiting my website

As a busy and dedicated professional storyteller and touring artist, I have established a large repertoire of personal and traditional tales to entertain audiences of all ages. Since 1996, my work has included performances for schools, libraries, concerts, conferences, festivals and community events in several states around the country. During the past 4 years, I have developed and regularly provide storytelling programs to audiences in senior living communities, including people dealing with memory care issues. If you would like more information about my work, or if you are interested in booking a storytelling show, please send a message via the contact link below.

It’s June already, and yesterday at the Douglas (AZ) Public Library, we gave our first “Squirrely Shirley Digs Up a Treasure Chest of Trouble” performance of the season to a standing-room-only audience (that’s called SRO in show business talk)!!

What fun! I’m still excited about how good the show is and how great the kids in the audience were about helping me stay out of trouble and figuring out how to read the mystery code in the treasure box.

We’re taking the show on tour in July. I hope to see some of you in all the shows we’ll be doing at different libraries then. If you want me to visit your library, talk to that storyteller person lady today!

Your friend,
Squirrely Shirley
